Sesame Seeds

Sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum) are one of the oldest oilseeds in trade, prized for their nutty flavour and 44% to 50% oil content. They are sold in three main forms: hulled white seed with the husk removed, natural white seed as harvested, and black seed with its deep colour and stronger flavour.

Geodhara International sources sesame seeds from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. We supply Hulled White at 99.95% purity, Natural White in 99/1 and 98/2 grades, and Black sesame at 99% and above, each machine cleaned and sortexed, and every lot is tested for moisture, oil content, Salmonella and ethylene oxide residues before dispatch.

Our target markets include South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, the USA, the EU and Russia, where we supply bakeries, tahini and halva makers, confectioners, oil mills and food distributors with consistent quality and full export documentation.

FAQs

Hulled White at 99.95% purity and above, sortexed with the husk removed; Natural White in 99/1 and 98/2 grades, where the numbers are the percentage of white seed to darker seed; and Black sesame at 99% purity and above, with a 99.95% sortex grade available.
Hulled sesame has had its outer husk removed, giving a whiter, softer seed used for bakery toppings and tahini. Natural sesame keeps its husk, holds longer in storage and is used for oil extraction, confectionery and markets that prefer whole seed.
From Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Geodhara International does not own farms, factories or warehouses - we coordinate supply, quality checks and export.
Each lot is sampled and tested by an accredited laboratory for Salmonella and for ethylene oxide residues against the destination's limits, which matter most for EU buyers. The certificate of analysis travels with the shipment.
We offer 25 kg and 50 kg PP or paper bags and 1 MT bulk bags, with custom private-label packaging to suit your market requirements.
