FAQs

We export Bhagwa (also called Kesar), Arakta and Ganesh. Bhagwa is the variety most export buyers specify, for its deep red skin, soft seeds and high juice content.
Held at 5 to 7 degrees C under an unbroken cold chain, Indian pomegranates carry 8 to 12 weeks from harvest, which is what makes them workable on long sea routes.
Pomegranates are packed in 3.5 kg or 5 kg single layer ventilated cartons with moulded trays. Reefers are held at 5 to 7 degrees C at 90% to 95% relative humidity.
The main export crop is Mrig bahar, harvested October to February. Hasta and Ambe bahar extend supply across much of the year, so we can usually cover a programme outside the peak.
We provide phytosanitary certificates, certificates of origin, lab test reports and complete shipping documentation for every consignment. Where your programme requires GlobalG.A.P., we can nominate certified source farms.
